A flowing history
Qujiang’s historic waterways become luminous particle streams flowing through the immersive space. The prelude uses the movement of water to connect the site’s past and present.
03 / Fragments
The city’s axes
A holographic city point cloud traces the historic political, contemporary commercial and cultural axes. Moving connections and light converge where they meet, locating the project within the city.

The tree of life
A millennium-old ginkgo is reconstructed through procedural generation. Golden leaves grow, circle and gather into the film’s tree of life, bringing cultural memory together with a future landmark.
