The Durant Guild: Hello Billy Immersive Audio-Visual Space
An interactive space built around voices. Visitors contribute through speech or touch, with their input becoming light, particles and moving typography.
01 / Background
For The Durant Guild's offline exhibition in Shanghai and Shenzhen, the project created a softer emotional interaction space inside a hard industrial field of SUVs and sports cars. Voice becomes the medium: visitors listen, speak, and see their attitudes translated into light, particles, and dynamic text.
02 / Fragments
Hello Billy
The frequencies of Voice of Billy are mapped to the breathing intensity of the lights. Visitors first hear the monologue, then express their own pioneering attitude through voice or touch.
03 / Fragments
Live typography and animation translate visitor statements into particle streams and moving text walls. Individual voices circulate and gather within the space, revealing resonances between viewpoints.
