Temple of Heaven: Immersive Acoustic & Visual Exhibition

An immersive installation combining architectural projection and spatial sound. Acoustic motifs from the Echo Wall and Triple Sound Stone become visible particle paths.

01 / Experience

The project recreates the architectural courtyard of the Imperial Vault of Heaven at full scale inside a commercial space in Shanghai. Rather than presenting heritage as static display, the installation uses multi-sensory technology to visualize acoustic phenomena such as the Echo Wall and Triple-Sound Stone.

02 / Fragments

Making sound visible

At the dialogue stones and Triple Sound Stone, interaction triggers spatial echoes and particle streams that rebound along virtual walls. Hearing and seeing happen together, making sound propagation legible.

03 / Fragments

Projection mapping turns the facade into a narrative surface. Changing light connects sunrise, moonrise and ritual, placing the reconstructed architecture and digital scene within a shared timeline.

The control system aligns architectural projection, surround sound and low-frequency vibration. The atmosphere comes from synchronized sensory cues rather than brightness or additional visual effects.
